A couple of weeks ago, a fellow student at Vermont College who’s a buyer for a bookstore in Mississippi, posted a lovely picture on my Facebook page–a blurry copy of the advance copy of my forthcoming novel, Rogue. The copy was blurry because she said she was so excited she couldn’t hold the camera straight.
My copy hadn’t arrived yet, so I checked with my publisher and found out that it was held up in the mail room pending additional information for an international shipment. I provided the information, and a week later, this arrived!
I am thrilled with the new cover and have been busy the past week proofreading the inside and writing my acknowledgements. Originally, the novel was due out in the middle of June, 2013, but the publication date has been moved forward to May. That means less time for me to wait, and I’ll also be able to attend several book fairs in my area in the spring, with books available to sell.
